Opportunity | Qualified Accountant
MannBenham Group is looking for a qualified accountant to join our rapidly expanding, broad-spectrum businessWe are one of the fastest growing law firms providing a broad spectrum of legal services, including litigation, family and conveyancing, in the Isle of Man, complemented with corporate and trust service provision, and specialist multi-jurisdictional eGaming and advisory solutions
This new role will primarily focus on client accounting where you will have exposure to the whole of the group and its various functions. Within the role both internal and external relationship management will be key; ensuring you manage client requirements and carry out a range of accounting functions from payroll, VAT and Tax to annual accounts, management accounts and other client-centric requirements.
You will be working alongside our qualified ACCA Internal Financial Controller and accountant assisting with the accounting functions for the management of the group and regulatory reporting, whilst being expected to manage a growing portfolio of clients within MannBenham Fiduciaries and the eGaming business. In addition, opportunities will arise for you to work across other areas of the group to further grow the client base and to develop the business solutions ensuring the continuity of our accounting functions, especially during holiday periods.
The role will require an individual who can work independently and manage their own workloads and deadlines, whilst pro-actively liaising with the Financial Controller and Directors keeping them informed and assisting with managing the workloads of the small team. You will need to be confident and able to communicate effectively with the internal and external stakeholders across the group and be able prioritise workloads and manage expectations to achieve deadlines.
Ideally the role would suit someone who has had exposure to a wide range of accounting functions and types of business and some eGaming experience would be beneficial. A working knowledge of Quickbooks or other accountancy software and a good level of skill on Microsoft Excel will be essential, along with some experience of managing others and being part of a team.
