Christopher was admitted to the Manx Bar in 2002 and is an English Solicitor (Non Practising) Notary Public, Commissioner for Oaths and an Associate of the Charted institute of Arbitrators and a member of the Family Bar Association.

Christopher is named in the Legal 500. Prior to qualifying as a Manx Advocate Christopher spent 14 years in the London insurance and Reinsurance Market.
Christopher is an independent Trustee of St John Isle of Man and sits on the Isle of Man Law Society Professional Indemnity and Insurance sub-committee and was Treasurer of the Isle of Man Law Society for a period of 6 years.
Christopher acted for Mr Sutton in this high-profile whistleblowing case at first instance and on the two Appeals brought by Creechurch. Mr Sutton was ultimately successful and the claim is currently the biggest award made by the Employment Tribunal in the Isle of Man at over £500,000.
Christopher acted for the Joint Liquidators in obtaining an Order for the transfer of the liquidation from the Isle of Man to Canada. This is the first application of its type in the Isle of Man.
Christopher acted for Mr Forster in defending the first Claim following the introduction of the new Isle of Man Rules of the High Court in respect of a Status Quo petition which is a unique Manx remedy, Mr Forster was successful at first instance and Appeal.
Piercing the Corporate veil attempted by the Claimant to import a duty of care on the sole Director of the Company personally. Christopher successfully got the claim struck out.
