Our highly experienced egaming team are on hand to deal with all your white labelling needs
The Isle of Man is one of the premier jurisdictions for regulated online gambling.
White label websites are domain names which are listed under a licence holder’s Isle of Man Gambling Supervision Commission licence. These websites are operated by a third-party. The licence holder is still ultimately responsible for all regulatory requirements which go with the operation of these websites, but the day-to-day business activity is undertaken by the third-party. The advantage of this is that the third-party may use their own branding on the website and may market the website as it pleases, subject to advertising standards.
However, a white label partner will not retain ownership of its customer database as this will still reside with the licence holder. Should a company be looking for such a business relationship with a current licence holder, but wishes to own its own customer database, then pursuing a Sub-Licence may be a more suitable alternative.
White labelling is treated as being non-licensable with no licence fees or gaming duty. In addition, as there is no player data held by the third-party there are no AML or KYC requirements. Subsequently, because the licensed provider takes care of everything, a white labelling arrangement is a low cost solution. Thus, you are free to concentrate on your marketing and maximising revenues.
White Labelling | What we do
MannBenham work closely with egaming companies who are interested in setting up a fully licensed Isle of Man operation. Subsequently, our team of experience egaming professionals will assist you in developing a comprehensive white labelling strategy. It will be structured to increase your return on any white labelling arrangement. Alternatively, we work with existing companies looking for new and diferent platforms. White labelling allows companies to easily recycle traffic or enter new markets.
To ensure everything is in accordance with your requirements, we will draft an agreement between you and the licensed operator. As part of this agreement we would ensure that a revenue sharing agreement between you and the operator is included. In addition, we can draft clauses whereby you can take the player data the white labelling has generated with you when your relationship comes to an end with the licensed operator.
