Profile 

William Clarke is a Trainee Advocate and joined MannBenham in July 2025. He holds a First Class Bachelor of Laws LLB (Hons) Degree from the University of Chester. Upon completion of his studies, Will was awarded the 2025 Oxford University Press Prize for outstanding academic achievement and engagement.

During his time at the University of Chester, Will engaged in pro bono work and held the position of Project Manager for the Chester Community Law Project. As part of his role, he coordinated a team of students to create and present training sessions for Citizens Advice advisors on requested areas of law. This was an invaluable experience and a great opportunity for Will to engage with the local community, something which he is passionate about.

Born and educated in the Isle of Man, Will brings a strong work ethic and professionalism which he developed during his time in the Investment Department at International Financial Group Limited (IFGL).

Will is looking forward to studying for the Manx Bar Exams and gaining experience of the different areas of law offered by MannBenham.
