Robert Waller

Known as Bob and he has over 15 years experience in online gambling fraud and anti-money laundering detection and prevention following on from his retirement from his police career of 26 years, mainly as a detective.

Bob has managed AML-CFT compliance across different gambling regulating authorities including the GBGC, the GSC and PAGCOR, completing many regulatory audits successfully for a couple of the largest operators in the UK and Asia respectively.

As well as conducting AML-CFT risk assessments, writing and maintaining policy and processes for the operators concerned, Bob has also written policy and process documents in pursuit of licencing for both the Swedish and Danish gambling regulatory bodies.

In recent times he has been involved in the consultations conducted by the GSC during the updates to the IoM gambling legislation, the Code and Guidance. Bob has attended the regular AML-CFT related seminars for operators organised by the GSC.

His work relies on collation of the facts and a deal of common sense, applying logical solutions to diverse challenges.
