MannBenham Advocates is delighted to announce that Oliver Fleming has been formally admitted as an Advocate of the Isle of Man, having successfully completed the rigorous qualification process set by the Isle of Man Law Society.

His admission to the Bar at the end of February 2025 marks a significant milestone in his legal career and reinforces MannBenham’s commitment to developing exceptional legal talent within the business.

Oliver joined MannBenham in late 2022 as a trainee advocate, where he has gained extensive experience across a variety of legal disciplines. His methodical approach to legal research, meticulous attention to detail, and strong advocacy skills have made him an invaluable member of the litigation team where he now resides.

Prior to qualifying as an Advocate, Oliver completed a first-class honours degree at the University of Cumbria, where his dissertation was recognised for its academic excellence and retained in the university’s library as an exemplar. Building on this strong foundation, he undertook a Master’s in Qualifying Law, followed by a Masters in Legal Practice, ensuring that he met the high standards required for professional qualification in the Isle of Man.

Throughout his training, Oliver has worked on many litigation matters, gaining a solid grounding in procedural and substantive law. His exposure to a broad range of legal challenges has honed his skills and his ability to navigate legal frameworks with confidence and precision.

Oliver’s qualification as an Advocate reflects his dedication, perseverance, and passion for the legal profession. His admission to the Bar signifies not only a personal achievement but also an important addition to MannBenham’s team of legal professionals.
