MannBenham is extremely pleased to announce that John Garland has joined its Advisory Team.
John Garland has been working within the islands professional and financial services sector for almost 20 years culminating in joining the Isle of Man Government’s Department for Economic Development (now called the Department for Enterprise) where he became the Head of Foreign Direct Investment.

Having created several new initiatives including development grants and crowdfunding John further developed his skills and experience back in the private sector, working across the areas of angel investment, venture capital and business advisory.
It is these critical involvements from John’s business development background that he will be able to leverage from and provide a seamless transition into becoming part of the Advisory Team. John will seek out new opportunities and supporting businesses, whether they are start-ups, existing island-based companies or new to the island, that are seeking advice and assistance, whilst building relationships, and developing new business ideas and growth strategies with them. He will guide businesses, advise on and obtain grants, develop business plans, marketing strategies and help monitor growth objectives.
John’s experience puts him in a unique position to be able to give informative, impartial and practical advice to clients looking to set up or move businesses to the Isle of Man.
John will be working alongside others within the team to bring together business solutions for existing companies and those wanting to come to the Isle of Man. With John’s appointment to the Advisory Team, MannBenham continues to develop its core offerings across Legal, Fiduciary and Advisory.
